The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable candidates for the position of Secretary II at its Headquarters in Ibadan.
Secretary II
Duties
Successful candidate will among other things:
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to Facilities Maintenance Services (FMS) Unit Head and Service Officer
  • Arrange travel for FMS Staffs
  • Arrange for meetings and ensure that necessary materials are provided
  • Preparation of Oracle request (internal &external) for all FMS Unit
  • Receive, coordinate and issue materials requested and supplied to the FMS Unit from Supply Chain
  • Receive and coordinate IITA’s sold/auctioned vehicle for onward processing at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja;
  • Attend to general enquiries (internal and external);
  • Work order management including entering of work orders and follow up;
  • Manage the FMS Central Office Assets by making requisition (internal/external), storage and documentation;
  • Assist other officers in FMS Central Office while unavailable;
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the head, FMS.
Qualification and Experience
  • B.Sc/HND or Secretarial Administration or in a related discipline. Minimum of 3 years Secretarial or relevant experience in a reputable organization.
  • The ideal candidate must be committed, well organized and be a good team player.
  • He/She must be highly proficient in the use of computer and possess good typing skills and knowledge of filing systems.

Job description
  • Participates in the development of strategies, goals and objectives to enhance, sustain and build equity for the brand. Assists in the management and maintenance of resources, equipment and promotional materials. Represent the department and serves as the primary point of internal and external liaison

Manager – Direct & Indirect Taxes
Job description
1. Direct & Indirect Taxes Process Management (External Partner Management)
  • Review of VAT Returns for accuracy, completeness and compliance
  • Review of WHT Returns for accuracy, completeness and compliance
  • Review of PAYE Tax Returns for accuracy, completeness and compliance
  • Attendance and provision of explanations on issues raised by the State and Federal Internal Revenue Service during tax audit
  • Attendance and co-ordination of post audit reconciliation meeting by the State and Federal Internal Revenue Service
  • Co-ordinate collection of WHT certificate from FIRS for vendors
  • Co-ordination of employees related tax forms for the issuance of Tax Clearance Certificate and Tax deduction cards
  • Preparation of response to the State Internal Revenue Service tax audit queries
  • Filing of annual employee PAYE returns
  • Attendance to Internal and External Auditors’ queries and requests.
2. Direct & Indirect Tax Reporting
  • Monthly reconciliation of VAT, WHT and PAYE general ledger accounts.
  • Preparation of the PAYE and WHT tax status and other reports as requested by the group.

1. SYSTEM ADMINISTRATORS Ref: SA

GENERAL QUALIFICATION:

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and any other related field. Relevant postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.

Skills/Competencies Required

Minimum of ten (10) years system administration experience in Telecoms Domain.
Certification in Linux, Solaris, HPUX or AIX
Must have Strong understanding of UNIX files systems concepts, implementation/configuration and challenges.
Good working experience in SUN, HP, DELL, IBM, hardware/server components will be an added advantage,
Ability to write detailed shell scripts & perform security audits is required.

2. OPERATIONS EXECUTIVES Ref: OE

Skills/Competencies Required

Minimum of five (5) years of application operations experience in Telecoms Domain.

Responsibilities:

Manage, maintain and build upon the existing platform in operation and manage the business KPI for respective application under the telecom OSS-BSS space.
Monitor and develop work flows, processes and practices and identify areas for improvement & enhancing the user experience.
Ensure the data/files availability for the inbound and outbound application requirements.

3. DATABASE ADMINISTRATORS Ref: DBA

GENERAL QUALIFICATION: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and any other related field. Relevant postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
Skills/Competencies Required:

Minimum of ten (10) years database administration experience in Telecoms Domain.
Good understanding of Database Administration and maintenance (Oracle and MSSOL)
Expertise in Oracle 10gor later, SOL Server DB, MySQL, PUSOL, Oracle RAG, Oracle forms or related area.
Good experience in performance turning at servers and application level, high availability solutions, setting up alerts and alarms.
Good knowledge of Shell scripting, cloning, data guard, SQL, database scheme and UNIX environment.


4. PROGRAM MANAGERS Ref: PM

GENERAL QUALIFICATION: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and any other related field. Relevant postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
Skills/Competencies Required:

  • Establish and maintain existing and potential client relationships
  • Present and sell company products and services to existing and potential clients
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • 1 - 3 years working experience
  • An active, energetic and enthusiastic attitude to work
  • Confident in using a PC, particularly competent in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and company systems.
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You must be resident in Abuja and have completed NYSC
  • Preferably FEMALE and not more than 28 years old
