A good honours degree and a PhD in the specified field plus at least six (6) years of teaching and research experience in a University or Institution of comparable status. Candidates must have the ability to initiate research work and to supervise post-graduate projects. Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals is also required. Experience in working with interdisciplinary groups will be an added advantage. The successful candidate must have been a Lecturer I for a minimum two (2) years.
